More benefit from Mission Miracle

The Ministry of Health said the latest batch of beneficiaries under the Mission Miracle programme recently returned from Cuba to Guyana.

According to a press release from the Government Information Agency (GINA) Minister within the health ministry Dr Bheri Ramsaran said all surgeries for retinitis pigmentosa, cataract and glaucoma were successful. About 35 patients comprising the 75th batch of patients left Guyana for treatment on December 2 under phase two of the programme. They returned on December 23.

The programme resumes mid January.
