Four remanded over knife-point robbery

Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton recently remanded to prison four men accused of robbing a woman of two silver chains at knife-point.

Romel Samuels, Alex Bacchus, Rawle Braithwaite and Leon Knights were not required to plead to the indictable charge of robbery under arms when they appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.

It is alleged that on December 28, the four accused used a knife to rob Susan Griffith of the said articles, valued $22, 000.

The men were ordered to appear in court on January 20.
