US Consular Section to be closed on Jan 23

The Consular Section of the US Embassy  in Georgetown will be closed to the public next  Friday, January 23, but it will  reopen and resume services  on Monday, January 26.

The US embassy said yesterday in a press release that “in case of a  genuine emergency, American citizens may call the duty officer at 592-623-1992.”

The embassy also expressed regret at any inconvenience the one-day closure may cause.
