No.6 Village service station robbed

Armed bandits yesterday held up two pump attendants at a West Coast Berbice (WCB) gas station and after tying them up and beating them, escaped with $13,000.

Police say that they are investigating an armed robbery that occurred around 2 am at the Feroze Service Station at No. 6 Village, WCB during which Dharmendra Dhale and Alvin Jageet were attacked and robbed by two masked men armed with a handgun and a sledge hammer.

Investigations revealed that the two victims were at work at the Service Station when they were confronted by the two men who held them at gunpoint and took away a total of $13,000 cash.
They were then tied up and beaten after which the two bandits escaped.
