Dear Editor,
I was delighted when I saw the relevant authorities repairing the roads in Stevedore Housing Scheme. These roads had been in very bad shape for a very long time.

But now I don’t feel delighted any more, I feel distressed. Owing to the fact the roads were not surfaced, the constant rainfall and the vehicle traffic are resulting in their deterioration.

We are always being told about the ways that we, the people, waste “the government’s money,” which is really our money. This kind of sloppy work is the biggest waste of our money.

I would like to know, Editor, how long the authorities will take to surface the road. Do we have to wait another several years?
Yours faithfully,
