GT&T Madewini cell site boosting Timehri service

GT&T says mobile phone users at Timehri and nearby areas will notice an improvement in their service as the company has recently brought their cell site at Madewini online.

In a press release the company said the new site is expected to augment service at its Soesdyke and Hauraruni locations and boost the quality of calls made in and around Timehri particularly at the motor racing circuit and nearby resorts.

Additionally work is ongoing at Bartica and Lethem to position other sites to boost capacity in those communities.
The said residents at Ituni, Region 10 are now enjoying cellular service after it erected a mobile facility there.

This followed closely on the heels of another site at Sheet Anchor, East Canje, Berbice which was brought into service about one week ago.
GT&T said these developments are proof that it intends to realise its commitment to further telecommunications development, especially in remote communities.
