Republic Bank appoints more managers

Republic Banks has made a number of senior appointments recently.

In a press release the bank said Patricia Plummer was appointed Senior Manager, Corporate and Management Services effective January 1. A fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers with more than 30 years experience Plummer “exemplifies a career banker”, the release said. She has worked in several departments of the banks in various capacities amassing a wealth of knowledge, the release said.  Prior to her appointment Plummer had been Manager, Commercial Credit for 10 years.

Denise Hobbs has been appointed Manager, Branch Operations effective January 12. A career banker with over 25 years of experience, Hobbs joined the management team in 2001. Prior to her appointment, she held positions in the bank’s branch network and internal audit department. “Her accomplished tenure with the bank complemented by her qualifications in Business Management and Administration augur well for her new mandate,” the release said.

The Bank said it also appointed Rose Langevine to the post of Manager, Commercial Credit on January 12. Prior to this appointment she held the post of Manager, Branch Operations. “Her many years of service with the Bank provides the background and experience necessary to bring success to her new role,” the bank said.

Langevine holds a Diploma in Banking and Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, both obtained from the University of Guyana. She also holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration from the University of the West Indies.

The bank expressed confidence in all three appointees’ abilities and extends best wishes for their continued success.
