Police are looking for a second man in connection with the cocaine that was found on an outgoing passenger at the airport last Sunday.

A wanted bulletin has been issued for Andrew Yhap, 31, whose last known address is Lot 3727 Christian Street, North Ruimveldt, Georgetown for trafficking in narcotics at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport.

The bulletin said it is in connection with the seizure of cocaine which was found in the possession of a female overseas-based Guyanese.

Yhap is medium built and is 5’ 4” tall.

Anyone with information that could lead to his arrest is asked to contact the police.

All information will be treated with strict confidence, the bulletin added.

Last Wednesday, police issued a wanted bulletin for 31-year-old Rawle Drepaul, whose last known address is Lot 2737 North Ruimveldt Housing Scheme, Georgetown.

However, police caught the man in a Mahaica house the following day after being given a tip off.

The woman, Yvonne Caesar of 14 Bee Hive and 30 Nabaclis, East Coast Demerara was subsequently charged with trafficking in 245 grammes of cocaine.

She pleaded not guilty and was remanded to prison by Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson until tomorrow.
