Car cleaner accused of cocaine trafficking

One of three men charged jointly with trafficking in narcotics appeared yesterday before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.

It was alleged that on March 28, 2008 at Georgetown, 33-year-old Junior McFarlane, a car cleaner of 1251 Leopold Street had in his possession 7 grammes of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Frederick Prince and Roy Simmons have been charged along with McFarlane.

McFarlane’s case was transferred to Court Three for February 9.
