Atlantic Gardens streets in deplorable state

Many of the streets in Atlantic Gardens, East Coast Demerara are in a deplorable state.

During a recent visit to the area by this newspaper, one resident said that the roads had been badly damaged by heavy-duty vehicles. She added, “Some people are saying that the roads got bad because of the heavy rainfall but I think it break up because of the big trucks that drive in the area sometimes…”
