Thirteen held in East Coast raids

Thirteen people were arrested yesterday when the police conducted raids at Bare Root and Melanie Damishana, East Coast Demerara.

According to a police press release, the 11 men and two women were arrested in connection with investigations into various offences including robbery under arms. The police said the raids were conducted early yesterday morning and 14 houses were searched.
