One gram cocaine accused granted $15,000 bail

A young man yesterday pleaded not guilty to the charge of possession of narcotics when it was read to him by Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.

It is alleged that on March 24 at Georgetown, Deandra Fraser Forde of 53 Fourth Street, Alberttown had in his possession one gram of cocaine.

The unrepresented Forde made an application for bail on his own behalf and his application was subsequently granted in the sum of $15,000. He is to return to court on June 23.
