Carmichael St driver escapes falling tree

Stabroek News understands that Paul was driving north along Carmichael Street and had just crossed over Middle Street when the tree fell in his path, damaging the truck. Hugh Paul is lucky to be alive after an old tree fell on the truck he was driving along Carmichael Street yesterday.

Stabroek News understands that Paul was driving north along Carmichael Street and had just crossed over Middle Street when the tree fell in his path, damaging the truck. Paul fortunately managed to escape through the window in the nick of time.
