Teen shot at Oleander Gardens

A teenager was shot in his right hand on Wednesday night while awaiting transportation at Oleander Gardens, East Coast Demerara.
Jermaine Easton, 19, of Leopold Street, Georgetown, was shot to his right hand, police said in a press release. The incident occurred at about 7 pm.

Investigations revealed that Easton was awaiting transportation on the road when a car drove by from which a man discharged a round at him.
He was hit on the ring finger of his right hand and was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he received medical attention, the police said.
