Remanded over ice-pick hold-up

A 20-year-old man was not required to plead to the indictable charge of robbery under arms on Friday when he appeared before Magis-trate Hazel Octive-Hamilton at the Georgetown Magis-trate’s Court.

It is alleged that on May 16 at Georgetown, Seyon Persaud, being armed with an ice-pick, robbed Vicky Singh of $11,400.

The unrepresented Persaud was remanded to prison until June 2.
