The Accident and Emergency (A&E) Unit  at the Georgetown Public Hospital  Corporation is scheduled for upgrading  work between  22:00 hrs (10 pm) and 06:00hrs from today and this is expected to conclude on Sunday, June 14.

A press release from the hospital stated that the upgrading works would include painting and maintenance of doors, windows and ceiling.

Meanwhile, the management of the hospital is asking members of the public for their fullest cooperation during this upgrading exercise which it said is aimed at improving the general appearance of the Unit.

Management also expressed regrets at any inconvenience caused.
