Meadow Bank man stabbed twice

A 44-year old Meadow Bank resident was admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital last evening with two stab wounds in the region of his chest.

Orin Duncan, of Lot 17 Cane Street, Meadow Bank, was reportedly involved in an altercation with a few persons a short distance away from his home and was stabbed with an ice pick in the left side of his chest around 7:30 last evening.

The man’s nephew told Stabroek News last evening that when he arrived at the scene he saw two men beating his uncle who was clutching the right side of his chest. He said the men told him not to get involved in his uncle’s business and sped away on a motorcycle.

Duncan, a father of nine, was reported to be in a stable condition as the police investigate the incident.
