The Social Work Unit of the University of Guyana will host the 9th Biennial Conference of Caribbean and Social Work Educators from July 20-24 at Le Meridien Pegasus.

The feature address is expected to be delivered by Minister of Human Develop-ment and Social Transformation Peter Martinez of Belize, a press release stated.

Presenters from Guyana, the Caribbean, Asia, North America and Europe will engage participants on issues related to youth development, handling perpetrators of domestic violence, HIV/AIDS, drugs, family and child welfare, community development, teenage pregnancy, corporal punishment, and social work education and research, among others.
