The trio charged with having stolen a GPL transformer made another court appearance before Magistrate Nyasha Williams-Hatmin at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court on June 29.

Their matter was however put down for September 7, since the attorney representing them was not present at court.

It is alleged that between October 27 and November 17, 2008 Davin Jones, Ganesh Ramlall and Rajesh Sanchara conspired with other persons to commit a felony when they allegedly stole one KVA transformer belonging to GPL valued at $4,140,000.

Ramlall is the owner of the Regent Multiplex where the transformer was found.

When the three men made their initial appearance before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court on January 28 they all pleaded not guilty to the charge and were placed on bail in the sum of $400,000 each.
