An East Coast Demerara businessman died after he was reportedly electrocuted while operating a plucking machine at his home yesterday.

Dead is Ameron Gulad called ‘Imran’, 32, of Courbane Park, La Bonne Intention (LBI).
Reports are that Gulad, who sold poultry, died some time around 8:30 am while operating the machine.

Police said in a press release yesterday that Gulad is suspected to have been electrocuted, but that they are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death. The police also said that they are awaiting the results of the post-mortem examination.
