Body of drowned No.30 girl found

The body of a 9-year old Number 30 Village, West Coast Berbice girl, who went missing after going for a swim on Tuesday, was recovered yesterday morning.

According to reports a fisherman who works close to the Number 29 village foreshore discovered the body of Keiana Fraser who went missing on Tuesday while swimming in the vicinity of a sluice at Number 29 Village.

The girl and four female friends had gone to the area to do a ‘bush cook’ during which they went for a swim, the police had reported. Public-spirited citizens along with the police had launched a search for the child’s body.
