GDF vetting recruits

The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) Recruitment Board is currently vetting recruits for the second Basic Recruit Course to be held this year.

In a press release the GDF said the Board will be interviewing potential recruits who have completed their documentation for their suitability to become soldiers.

The Board will appraise potential recruits while providing transparency and credibility to the Force’s recruitment process. It comprises the colonel general staff, the commanding officer, training corps, the general personnel department, the force sergeant major, one other warrant officer and a civilian officer selected by the Office of the President.
