Reverend Wedlan Sealy of the Atlanta, Georgia church Sanctuary of his Presence Daybreak Ministry said a team of members and supporters from the USA are in Linden to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Bethel Assembly of God Church.
He said the US church had intended to ship a few barrels of items containing clothing, foodstuff and other things to Bethel. “When we shared the idea with our membership and other friends, things kept coming and so we decided to share the blessing,” Sealy said.
The hospital received a large quantity of medical supplies and several inter-denominational churches got barrels and boxes of school supplies and other items. The team hopes to continue the mission some time in the future.
