Bishops’ celebrates 98.1% passes at CSEC

The Bishops’ High School is celebrating an overall percentage pass of 98.1% at the Caribbean Secondary Examination Certificate (CSEC) exams this year.

In a press release Bishops’ said its students secured 100% passes in Grades 1 to III in 18 subject areas. The school extends felicitations to Tajaram Dhanraj and Bria McKenzie who obtained 11 grade ones each; Donella Mohabir, Youni Abdul and Tamara Gilhuys who each gained 10 grade ones and Varsha Arjune, Analisa Baird, Dacia George, Rebecca Khan, Sarah Samaroo, Vidya Sukhu and Ian Smith who each earned nine grade ones.

These results were recorded in Agriculture Science, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, English Language, Food and Nutrition, Integrated Science, Home Economics Management, Physics, Office Administration, Principles of Business, Social Studies, Technical Drawing, EDPM, Human and Social Biology, Clothing and Textiles and Information Technology.

The release said 48 students achieved grade ones in five or more subjects and 18 students obtained grade ones in eight and more subjects. Bishops’ congratulates its teachers, present and recently retired headmistresses and its students on their diligent work.

The Board also congratulates Queen’s College on its outstanding success especially Bishops’ alumni and top CSEC performers Melissa Moore and Walissa Roberts.
