Armed robbery accused remanded

Sheldon Joseph, 30, of Second Alley Wismar, Linden was remanded to prison on Tuesday when he appeared before Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Christianburg Magistrate’s Court charged with armed robbery.

Joseph was not required to plead to the indictable charge.

It is alleged that he used a broken bottle to subdue Tony Gilkes and rob him of $67,000. He is to return to court on October 28 for report.
