Security guard found dead

A security guard was yesterday morning discovered dead at his Regent Street work site from a suspected burst artery.

Jagnarine Singh was discovered bleeding through his nose lying on a table at CJ’s Variety Store on Regent Street.

According to Sulaimar, manager of the store, he got a call around 8.30 yesterday morning informing him of Singh’s death.

He said that a guest house is located behind the store and the caretaker there was the one who made the discovery.

The police were called in and while they found no evidence of foul play they indicated that a post mortem would have to be performed on the man’s body.

Singh, of Enachu Street, Section K Campbellville, began working at the location in May of this year.
