The Rotaract Club of Corriverton, in observance of International Literacy Day, hosted a story telling and educational games afternoon on September 8 with 30 children from various communities of the township at the Scottsburg Community Centre ground.

The club said in a news release that Rotaractors and guests of the club came together to host the event which was said to be very educational and fun-filled.

The children and their parents were all happy to participate in such an event and parents have requested the club to hold similar events for the children more often.

The club indicated that it will consider hosting more activities like this in the future, the release added.
