Courts marks 16 years

To mark its 16th anniversary, furniture giant Courts yesterday held a cake-sticking event at its Main Street head office. Scores of customers and staff members gathered to witness the symbolic cutting of the cake which was done by General Manager Natasha Ali and Country Manager Lester Alvis (see photo above).

20090922sixteenyearsSpeaking at the simple ceremony, Alvis said he was pleased to be associated with an organisation which has over the years been known for its hallmark of always giving back to the community in charitable ways.

He added that even though the present economic climate is a trying one, the organisation was still able to perform creditably well over the past 16 years, offering to its valued customers competitive prices and excellent customer service.

Also at the cake-cutting ceremony was Clyde De Haas, Purchasing Director of Courts Guyana Limited.
Celebrations for Courts’ 16th anniversary will continue until September 30.
