Motorcyclist struck down by car

A 72-year-old motorcyclist died at the city hospital after he was struck down by a car on the McDoom, East Bank Demerara public road on Saturday evening.

Mohamed Ali of Lot 18 McDoom Public Road died at the hospital shortly after being rushed there on Saturday. According to reports the man had been riding his motorcycle when the car knocked him down near the McDoom Service Station. The driver of the vehicle is in custody and police investigations are continuing.
