MEN hosting anger conference

The Men Empowerment Network (MEN) is hosting a seminar on anger management and non-violent communication for men tomorrow at the Pegasus Hotel.

According to a press release the conference and workshop is designed to educate men in techniques that will help them to manage anger and reduce conflict. These techniques can also be used to defuse several situations that can lead to domestic violence, the release said.

Chairman of MEN, Rev Kwame Gilbert said, “We must be able to empower men to conquer those circumstances in their lives that lead to domestic violence so that the incidents are reduced and eventually eliminated.” The sessions start at 9 am.

According to the release the sessions have been coordinated by MEN, the Ministry of Human Services and Social Security and the UNFPA.
