Annandale man shot in shoulder

An Annandale West, East Coast Demerara resident has been hospitalized after he was shot in his shoulder last Friday by a man he had a misunderstanding with. The suspected shooter is in police custody assisting with the investigation.

Hardat Premsukh sustained a single gunshot to the right shoulder and is a patient of the Georgetown Hospital.

The man told the police that a man who lives in the upper flat of his house went into his home and shot him.

When police turned up at the house to conduct investigations, a .25 pistol and three matching rounds were found in Premsukh’s home.
