Banks DIH driver robbed by bandits

A Banks DIH driver was yesterday morning robbed of cash by three bandits, two of whom were armed with handguns as he was preparing to make a delivery at a Tucville business place.

Police told this newspaper yesterday that as the man stopped to conduct his business at the Eden Street store the bandits held him at gunpoint before relieving him of $80, 000 which represented money collected from sales, his cellular phone and a silver chain.
The men then fled.

Up to press time last evening the bandits had not been caught.
