Armed man grabs gold cash from Brazilian woman

The police are investigating a robbery committed on a Brazilian woman at the Tamakay Backdam, Middle Mazaruni on Sunday night.

Brazilian Ellis Andla Da Silva was attacked and robbed by a man armed with a gun.

The police said the woman was in a shop when the man entered and held her at gunpoint and took away a quantity of raw gold along with $100,000. Patrons in the shop attempted to assist the woman but their efforts were thwarted by the man who discharged a round in the air and escaped.
