Wrong photo

In yesterday’s edition of the Stabroek News, a report headlined ‘Girl shoots self’ was accompanied by an incorrect photograph.

The photograph, which appeared with the story, was not that of the deceased Lisa Prashad, but of Lisa Prashad-Ramsarup, Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Manager of the Ministry of Health.

Stabroek News regrets the error and apologizes for whatever inconvenience it may have caused Mrs Prashad–Ramsarup.
