Police recovered a quantity of marijuana from a house in the Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo area yesterday during an operation in which four female juveniles were  found imbibing   alcohol in the company of a male adult.

According to a police release, acting on information received ranks conducted a search of the building around 1230 yesterday at Tuschen where the juveniles, three of whom are attending a Community High School on the West Bank of Demerara were found imbibing  alcohol.

The man and the four juveniles are in custody as investigations into the matter continue.
