240 youth feted at Sophia Literacy Project party

Over 240 children were feted at the Sophia Literacy Project’s annual Christmas party held on Saturday.

According to a PNCR press release Opposition Leader Robert Corbin spoke with the children and entertained them with his rendition of ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas.’ He also danced with them and joined other PNCR executive members in serving them. The programme also included carolling, reciting poems and dancing. Santa Claus also made a special appearance to distribute toys.

The party was coordinated by Carol Corbin, wife of the Opposition Leader, Africo Selman, MP, and a team of volunteers. The coordinators expressed appreciation to all the persons who assisted in making it a success. he party was hosted at Congress Place.
