Prince William St man injured in accident

A Plaisance man is in a serious condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital after sustaining injuries in an accident.

Vibert Sam of Prince William Street, Plaisance, East Coast Demerara was rushed to the hospital early yesterday morning. He arrived at the medical institution at approximately 6am, was treated and has been admitted to the High Dependency Unit.

Details of the accident which left Sam with chest and back injuries are unknown, hospital sources said.

When Stabroek News visited the hospital yesterday afternoon the 50-year-old man was asleep.
