Two shot on Crown Street

Two men are in the Georgetown Public Hospital nursing gunshot wounds after a robbery on Tuesday night.

Victor Carter, 45, of 143 Crown Street was resting after surgery to remove pellets from his left foot. This paper understands that Carter was shot during a robbery.

Meanwhile, Lennox McFalene, 60, of East La Penitence said that he was going home from a wake when he saw two unmasked guys coming out of Carter’s yard.

McFalene said, “I was walking by and they just shot at me.”

He said he waited there until the police arrived. McFarlene sustained a gunshot wound to his left hand.
