Whose side did he fight on (if he did at all)? We cannot allow people who exploited the Blacks, Indians and Coloured in South Africa, during apartheid, or benefited therefrom in any way, to gain any economic foothold in the region. There has to be consequences for people's action or lack of it. Too many people have suffered during the apartheid period including, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi), Nelson Mandela, Steve Biko, just to name a few. Another important consideration: 1. What is the long-term environmental and health impact on the local communities where this chemical is being introduced. 2. How does it affect the ground water supply and rainwater run off to rivers, oceans and crops? 3. What are the carcinogenic or other degenerative agents emitted to humans and animals. Ten years is too short a period of time (from the time the company started to use the product in road building)to make that determination.
