Interesting as your blog is, Mr Browne, it does not address the editorial. You should have sent a letter to SN via email to stabroeknews@stabroeknews.com. It would have received a wider readership in the hard copy newspapers on the streets in Guyana. Go on, you can still do it.
As for cricket, like any other human invention, it is in a state of evolution. It will evolve whether or not we let it.

20/20 is not going to last. Too short a game.I suggest at least 25 eight ball(Australian) overs.I would not be surprised if a game of one tip two tip is also not popularized soon.

today, i wanted to talk about Guyana Independence celebration in New York City on 6/05/09 , i am not a born Guyanaese but my parents are from guyana ,i attended this function at New York City Hall.it was embarassing to sit there an listen to speaker after speaker of indian decent congraulate Dr cheddi Jagan on getting Guyana independence, Bobby Veria was the emce said nothing,it was shame full ,a councilman from Brooklyn is the only person who mentione ‘lots of people were involve not one person’.it’s like these people wanted to re-write the books with lies i tuly belive that there are people in Guyana and in New York area ,council men and woman from Queens NY are perpeuting lies to prevent harmony in Guyana , shame shame shame
