When they do not pay taxes, they cannot have quality services. It should be thought in schools because most of our citizens are not paying taxes but want services. Our country survives on taxes mostly paid by working employees from large companies and hand outs from larger first world countries, the top 20 nations, that give aid. Our tax net is not catching the big boys because in Guyana you do not go to jail for tax evasion. The big boys grease the little boys hands and move on, also our laws are not being practised by GRA for tax evasion. These laws just exist for decoration. And the people must help. As Xiu said, identify the problem and the solution, but also help them to solve it.Remember, a Gov't is no good without the people's help.Get the Gov't to intercede with the banks regarding loans extension. Offer solutions like dig the drains deeper,clen weeds,see if the Gov't will pay farmers to do the work instead of relying on others. I do not have all the answers, but asking is a big step forward.Never give up, ever forward.Get angry, but do so sensibly. Regards.
