Did the government do great by farmers when they ignored the advice of farmers who told them that the MMA river were badly silted and they needed to be dredged? Please you are soundling like a ppp apologist now. The PPP has done nothing for farmers and farming in Guyana lets be clear the little they have been doing is chicken feed. This government prefers to give loans to buddys to be repaid by hotel rooms free at cost to the government. Show me which farmer in Guyana received that kind of assistance from the PPP to date? RICE FARMING SHOULD BE A TOP PRIORITY FOR THE GOVERNMENT AND IS SO IMPORTANT THAT NOTHING SHOULD BE LEFT TO CHANCE. We need rice farmers on the board to champion improvements.
