Dear Editor,
The PNCR Biennial Congress will put to rest the many upheavals of the party about who will be the next leader, among other business. However, Mr Corbin in my opinion has done a splendid job as the main opposition leader over the recent years in keeping peace and stability in the country, despite the numerous challenges both internal and external. He has braved the wind and stemmed the storm. He has in my opinion dispelled the despair and hopelessness in the minds of the nation through constructive leadership that seems not to go down well with some who are bent on keeping us divided for their personal gain.
Mr Corbin has a vision of peace in his tactics and strategy for this nation, and what is so wrong with that? These should be appreciated in order that we are not misled by power-hungry fanatics. We need peace, and this is the way to go.

Corbin’s main job as Opposition Leader was to provide a counter balance to the Jagdeo led-PPP government on people issues, and on this count he failed miserably. An effective foot soldier under Burnham and Hoyte, he failed to deliver once he became a general. Worse, he exposed himself as another Jagdeo-type with his dictatorial tendencies; wanting to hold on to and wielding power.
Only a P.P.P. supporter is worthy of such an observation and critique. Good try Mr. Drakes or whatever is your real name. Say hello to Elizabeth Daly when next seen.

I wasn’t even aware that Corbin has done ANY job as opposition leader, except collect his paycheck and fight for cushy retirement benefits.

Mr. Drakes, its nice to know you’ve been rescued! You have obviously been living under a rock and have no idea of how Corbin is viewed by many of constituents. As leader, he alone is responsible for the massive decline in support for the party and, you can check the statistics for yourself,at elections and after. The party cannot even muster support for protest march.As an outsider,because I’m no supporter, he needs to take a step back.
