Dear Editor,
I refer to Mr. Ralph Ramkarran’s letter in your edition of Saturday, October 24. I will answer everything about my life that Mr. Ramkarran is interested in. And that is a solemn promise. All I ask in order to do that is for Mr. Ramkarran to tell me who is Dr. Pedro Archandro since Mr. Ramkarran is going on the basis of what that person says of me. What is he a doctor in? Which country he lives in? Where he works? This is all I ask of Mr. Ramkarran and I pledge to answer all his question of me. My friends in Guyana and all over the world are still searching through the internet and personal contacts to ascertain who Archandro is. I hope Mr. Ramkarran can stop the process by telling us who he is.
It is a sad day for any country when a citizen wants to become a president of his nation and reads and takes seriously one of the most vicious, gutter newspapers in the world. What does that tell you of leadership qualities? Let us hope when 2011 comes the Guyanese people will distinguish which candidate has leadership qualities from those who possess none
Let me quote Mr. Ramkarran so readers can be acquainted with facts rather than allegations from non-existent, fictional people writing in gutter newspapers. Here is Mr. Ramkarran; “For years Mr. Kissoon has been making the same insinuation in the same form against me…the fact that for all those years I have never responded to him…” Readers should know that in 2003 (yes, almost six years ago), instead of leaving me alone, Mr. Ramkarran sued me and Kaieteur News (the only PPP leader to have sued me). Over those six years, I have been asked by Kaieteur News management to respond to letters written to them by Mr. Ramkarran on some of my columns.
The latest of these occurred two weeks ago in which I am told Mr. Ramkarran wrote Kaieteur News management from Switzerland complaining about me and asking the newspaper to fire me.
Now in making this claim I have brought into play the management of the newspaper I write for which then puts me in hot water if I am lying on the newspaper I write for.
This is hardly the attitude of a man who ignores Freddie Kissoon. The content of the last letter to Kaieteur News threatens libel. Again this is a far cry from the words of someone who says that he ignores Freddie Kissoon.
Since few persons read the Chronicle, Guyanese would not know that I am featured regularly in Mr. Ramkarran’s weekly column for a newspaper that continues to violate every decent thread in the profession of journalism. In closing, I quote from that ancient saying that will live on once there is the spoken and printed word – “show me your company, I’ll tell you who you really are.” I await word on who is Archandro.

Freddie, don’t be cowed by men like Ralph Ramkarran. They are jealous of you because you have managed to shape and inform the public’s opinion in a way that they would never be able to. We have your back, Freddie.
And thanks for revealing the various actions Mr. Ramkarran has taken against you. Your revelations have exposed Mr. Ramkarran as being less than forthcoming when he claimed that he has been ignoring you.
Keep the fire burning, Freddie. Let your words and analyses continue to fall like hot coals upon the heads of the PPP government and its mindless supporters. Perhaps the hotness will penetrate their heads and place some sense in them.
Agreed but can he let this piffling, trifling back and forth one go? I agree with Cummins that his columns ought to be enough to deal with his critics. Freddie, it’s time to move on.
Freddie Kisson is killing trees(using lots of paper).He is in this newspaper,that newspaper,every newspaper like a child demanding to be heard.Can he not stop or is this the way he is? I am thinking his columns should be enough for him to take on his critics but aparrently that is not enough for him.
Thanks Freddie for being in all the papers that how you get your message across to Guyanese all over,you are a thorn in their side Freddie,there was a meeting in Queens NY hosted by Dr. Rowdy Persaud,the PPP is complaining how they are being bombarded by people like Freddie Kissoon,Peeping Tom and others.Mr.Rowdy Persaud job was to set up a Think Thank to counteract and spread propaganda on these columnists,many people here in the Guyanese diaspora in NY love your style of writing Freddie and Peeping Tom and the beautiful thing is we get the Kaieteurnews free here in Liberty Avenue Queens,you can see how fast this newspaper is gobbled up by Guyanese here,most people i speak to says”without Freddie and Peeping Tom the Kaieteurnews circulation would drop terribly”,most of my friends says the first thing they read when they open the Kaieteurnews is Peeping Tom and Freddie,then the news,i ask why,they say,Freddie and the Peeper tell it like it is.Keep hitting them Freddy boy,be very careful in Guyana.
RDMAN. That is correct. I have talked to dozens of friends here in Ontario, they all say the same… The first Newspaper they look at online is KN, they read Freddie’s column first, the PTom followed by the editorial and then the rest.
Could anyone tell me where i can get Kaieteurnews in Brooklyn, even if i have to pay for it. Mr. Lall you should think about this.

I too join the distinguished Frederck Kissoon in his call for verifiable evidence as to the existence of Dr. Archandro. It is a well known practice of the PPP to use “Ghost Writers” to intimidate and silence any dissenting opinions.
The attempt by Mr. Ramkarran to influence Mr Kissoon’s employer into terminating his services is not in-keeping with the tenants a democratic nation.
By allowing a powerful government member such as Mr. Ramkarran to use their medium from which to assail an ordinary citizen such as Mr. Kissoon, the Stabroek News also runs the risk of appearing collusive and cowardice.
The SN’s Editor, Anand Persaud is demonstrating questionable judgment with such breach of protocol and should take caution not to appear as a puppet for the PPP regime.
How tawdry! The late David de Caires must be turning in his grave.
BS Uncle Fred is not an ordinary citizen, he is one of the most controversial columnist in Guyana and I think one of the most read seeing that he dealt with so much library books, he is a good fighter always diving low when he clarifies the name of his opponent.

Evileyes ! You have to admit that Mr. Kissoon has some skills. Mr. Ramkarran is the Speaker of the House in Parliament. He stepped out and got hurt. The issue is no longer about Mr. Kissoon but, moreso, about Mr. Ramkarran who happens to to a top Public Servant. Simply beautiful !
The name Dr. Pedro Archandro does sound a bit artificial from a Guyanese context. Could this doctor kindly come forward?
Freddie, we know you are a fearless fighter but you don’t have to always have the last word. That is childish. I must say I never expected this from Mr Ramkarran. Sir, you please keep some dignity now.
Kisson casts apsersions, distorts the truth, tells half-truths, but when called out he becomes like a teenager -complaining that he is being picked on. I wonder who else employs a similar strategy…oh yes..Glen Beck. I bet Kisson has Beck on 24 hours a day. Way to go Freddie you have engaged the presidential candidate for 2011.

Truth, Beck is a racist. how in heaven can you equate Uncle Freddie with Glen Beck? If anyone behaving like the Becks are the PPP supports and officials.
Freddie is the biggest fish in the PPP radar right now, why? because he is getting the masses to pay attention. Before when he used to pipe up people would ignore him but today his complaints and assessments of the government and its various notable errors in high places continue not defy Freddie’s statements but reinforce them as being truthful.
What we have happening here is that Freddie’s writings are resonating very much with the PPP base and the average Guyanese indian who are no longer accepting the hideous and lazy excuses from the government. The poor man in Guyana is looking on and they are not so quietly making assessment of the situation.
Look when benschop can rescue his image with the Guyanese people you have to know the government is being seen as worse than ever.
Think about it folks, Freddie is a real pain to the PPP and the fact that he is now giving Benschop kudos is striking directly at freedumb house and the powers that be cannot continue to ignore him so they are pulling out all the stops to discredit and try and make Freddie seem like a griping, stealing weasel.
But instead the people are seeing Freddie as a lone fighter against Goliath.
Keep the faith right said fred. Make em shake in their proton boots.
