Dismantling: A Lamaha Embankment squatter dismantling his residence yesterday. Government gave these squatters up to the end of February to remove from the embankment. Many of them will be moving to the new Parfait Harmonie Scheme on the West Bank Demerara where they have been provided with free house lots by the government.  Their relocation is necessary since the Guyana Power and Light is expected to install high voltage power lines along this stretch of land by May of this year.
