Shiva Raatri observances

Shiva Raatri observances yesterday at the Radha Krishna Mandir on Camp Street.  Shiv Raatri is one of the most important festivals for Hindus. It literally means the night of Shiva. At right, a family just having attended observances. Ceremonies were held all across the country including at the Cove and John Ashram which traditionally has a very large turnout.
