Professional Guard Service honoured

Professional Guard Service (PGS) honoured 12 guards at its second quarterly awards ceremony hosted on Friday. In a press release PGS said eight ranks received awards of $10,000 each for service while four were selected for special wards of $10,000 each.
The awardees in the first category are shift commander Andrew Brandt, first lieutenant Sylvina Cornelius, inspector Ingrid Ridley, bank and factory shift commander Allison Lewis, armed sergeant Frank Van-vield, baton sergeant Winston Gordon, radio operator Glynis Frazer and driver Wendell Profitt.
Guards who received the special awards are lieutenant Eustace Rodney, zone inspector Patrick Semple, armed sergeant Louis Cockfield and Yvonna Grant. The ranks and other special invitees were feted at Kirkpatrick’s Catering after the ceremony.
