The Guyana Book Foundation celebrated International Literacy Day on Tuesday and invites the public to take time to read to enhance their lives. The Foundation said 776 million adults in the world still cannot read or sign their own name and as such it invites the public to visit its 56 New Garden and Anira streets location to rally for literacy in Guyana.
