This horse was stuck in a 5 ft deep drain  at the corner of Albert and Church streets yesterday afternoon for close to 45 minutes before it was finally rescued by its owner(in picture) who was assisted by members of the Guyana Fire Service. A passerby told Stabroek News that the horse was tied nearby, but somehow got loose and fell in the drain through a nearby hole. It crossed under a bridge(in foreground) before it was rescued.(Photo courtesy of Good Vibes Laboratory)
