The Guyanese Wives Association (GWA) recently donated school packages valued at $100,000 to Lifeline Counselling Services to “maximize children’s social and academic and earning potential” in order to give them the opportunity to become productive citizens. According to a press release the (GWA) is a collaborative effort between foreign and local Guyanese to assist children in reaching their potential and to assist and encourage parents and other stakeholders to develop the skills they need. The packages include uniforms, footwear stationery and other items.
