The Guyanese Wives Association (GWA) recently donated school packages valued at $100,000 to Lifeline Counselling Services to “maximize children’s social and academic and earning potential” in order to give them the opportunity to become productive citizens. According to a press release the (GWA) is a collaborative effort between foreign and local Guyanese to assist children in reaching their potential and to assist and encourage parents and other stakeholders to develop the skills they need.
